House of David Season 2: Oded Fehr (The Mummy) & Michael Iskander on Action & Filming in Greece! (2025)

Whoa! Did you know a second season of 'House of David' was already in the works, wrapping up this November? I, for one, was surprised! I mostly knew David from the classic David and Goliath tale, so I was intrigued to see what else his life had to offer. It turns out, there's a lot! Recently, I had the chance to chat with Michael Iskander, the actor who plays David, and Oded Fehr, who portrays Abner, about the show.

One of the most striking things about the new season is the significant increase in action. We delved into why this was crucial for the story's development. And, because it's Oded, I had to bring up 'The Mummy' – a film that holds a special place in my heart! (Who else remembers it fondly?)

Both actors clearly love working on this project, especially filming in Greece. Check out the interview above to see for yourself!

Here's a sneak peek at what Season 2 is all about:

In the new season, Israel teeters on the brink of collapse as Saul's reign weakens. David, once a simple shepherd, rises as a formidable warrior, torn between loyalty and his destiny. The Age of Iron dramatically changes warfare. Families are fractured, forbidden loves ignite, and alliances shift. Faith and power collide in a struggle that will determine Israel's future.

'House of David' is currently streaming on Prime.

Now, here's a thought-provoking question: What do you think about the evolution of David's story beyond the well-known tale? Do you find the increased action a welcome addition, or do you prefer a different focus? Share your thoughts in the comments! And, if you've seen 'The Mummy', what are your favorite memories of it?
