The Dev on this is Wootch, the original Urban X Life dev. Or at least they claim to be and I haven't seen anyone claiming otherwise.
You could say that this(Or the original game that is not posted here) is a remake/sequel/spiritual successor/retry of that old project from back then.
Now wether or not this is better/worse/equal to Urban Demons and all that jazz is a whole other discussion.

I wont lie. The idea itself is actually kinda interesting.....but those models make me want to claw my eyes out.

UrbanXLife was good because the 'unique' art, it's a shame that the dev just went mia. Urban demons didn't live up the title 'successor'. But this one is really bad, 3d art need some work to be good, i don't know maybe a better shader on this illusion characters would be good, either way i think that is a pass for me.

Why is UD lesser than UxL when the latter never finished and wootch was one of the first confirmed Sex Game Scammers. Please note the word confirmed, before i get messages of others.

Idea is solid, especially with the success of the original, but execution is lacking. You cant honey select this one. One of best parts of UxL was its unique art style... and ss. Neither of those are here, so this one will be hard to get off the ground. Good luck though!
